Easy, thorough, great!

I have been using Turbotax for 7 years now, and it has always been easy, thorough, precise, and did I mention easy? It truly is like having your own accountant inside your computer, who asks you questions and reminds you of things...it is very cool.
What's great about it: easy, thorough, catches potential mistakes, just like a real accountant in your computer.
What's not so great: nothing
Pros: I bought or sold investments

I have been using turbo tax for more than five years and up to this point I have been able to get 5 free efiles But this yeas I can't, Its very disappointing. That could the reason I look for a different product next tax season.
What's great about it: Easy to follow step by step instructions
What's not so great: I have to pay for E-filing my State taxes

All in all I love turbo tax over H&R block online filing. Everything is easy and clearly explained. The only thing to remember is when they do a review on your return I would like them to take me to the page where the problem exists but they don't so you have to do a search to find it.
What's great about it: very easy to file
What's not so great: During review it's hard to find where to fix the problem

Tranditional IRA Error
on March 13, 2014

The traditional IRA information that I entered was overridden and the full $13000 was not deducted (only $6700). Prior to transmitting, I reviewed the info, found the error and went back through personal deductions and credits. The update was saved. Then later again the update was overridden just prior to transmitting. Again I went back to update prior to sending. Finally I sent the returns efile and afterwards the old data error again returned. I corrected again and again saved the file. Perhaps I should NEVER efile... only paper.
What's great about it: step by step approach
What's not so great: IRA deduction program mistake

granddaughter is 20 and lives with mother, attends college full time. I tried to change status to "head of Household" but could not change it. It came up ineligible but never asked if she was attending college. I ended up downloading from IRS site and doing her taxes manually.
What's not so great: could not change filing status for daughter-in-laws taxes
