TT is always good. But this year's version seemed really unstable.
They should add a feature where you can view previous years returns if needed.

What's great about it: Simple, as usual
What's not so great: Crashed multiple times
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Great for Small Businesses

I'm a DBA making six figures. The first year I was in business I paid a pro quite a bit of money and all she did was just punch the numbers in and give me some tips. Every year since I've been punching the number in myself and getting tips on Google for free. TurboTax saves me a lot of time and money :)
What's great about it: Easy to Use, Quick, Allows More Control if You Know What You're Doing
What's not so great: Import Data from Last Year? Can Never Figure Out How

contribution to ira or sep was torturous

hard to get a grip on what had to be done to have contributions in sep, roth, ira's in business and personal. when I went to verifiy what the contributions were to be, it was twisted around and not what I wanted. Had to go back and forth from personal to business for an hour before the light came.
What's great about it: 80% is straight forward
What's not so great: the contributions to the savings plans between personal and busines is a land mine

Slick and Easy

Some of my tax documents are late getting to me every year. This is no problem- I know from past years experience that I can still complete my return on time with turbo tax. The grouping of the topics covered flows with my accounting methods. I have used turbo tax for about ten years, and as my financial situations have changed- there has been a turbo tax software for it. thx

Great Experience

This is the first time I've reviewed something online, but I've been using Turbo Tax for several years now and I can say that it is really easy to use and understand. My wife used to do the taxes manually, but when she started a business and I started to get into investments, I felt that it would be a lot easier if I had help from a tax software.
I like that Turbo Tax can download most of the things that I need enter, and I still have the option to review them. In fact, it would be nice if everything can just be downloaded, and all I had to was check if they were correct, but unfortunately, some trading companies don't allow Turbo Tax to download information.
There has been some improvements to Turbo Tax over the years, but I expect a lot more to make tax preparation easier (and more enjoyable, since it is kind of a boring and tedious job). It would be good to add a progress bar, so you know how much more you need to do if you stop and take a break. It would also be good to go back to the last place you were in before you saved and exited.
Overall it is a great product!
What's great about it: Easy to use and understand
What's not so great: No progress bar, doesn't take you back to where you last saved

Less time and trouble

I love TurboTax. I don't have to calculate each detail and worry if it's right. I just answer the question and make sure I have put in everything. I'm double-checked and verified, so I'm sure it's right.

What's great about it: It's easy! Just answer the questions
What's not so great: If there are odd parts in question, sometimes the answers are still hard to decipher.

Another successful year for Turbo Tax

What's great about it: All the updates and adjustments were made, including the benefits for being over 65.
What's not so great: Turbo Tax did not show 2012 compared to 2013. Usually it does this every year. Is there a way to correct that?

What's not so great: Occational entrys that don;t allow more tahan one.
