Cannot say enough about Turbo Tax. No other service comes close to it.
What's great about it: Excellent co-operation from Turbo Tax.
What's not so great: No unpleasent surprises.

This is a great tool, but wish I had more savy to understand the nuances of what things meant. I got tied up with where to put royalties but eventually got it fixed. The help was great.
What's great about it: Easy instructions and step-by-step guide
What's not so great: When errors occurred at the end, wasn't always easy to understand what the error was - had to really read the comments

Didn't print state return whit federal although selected. Calculated est tax but only showed me state payments.

No Other Way To Do It

Have used TurboTax to do both my personal and business taxes for years. I can't imagine any other way to do this. The cost is low and I have full assurance that the answers/choices are correct. It's like having your own tax advisor sitting with you. I love the ability to try various choices in the program and to see/understand the implications on the tax amount real time. I also enjoy the convenience that comes with having last year's tax return information on screen for real time comparison. Error checking and audit risk checking are also helpful. As you can see from my photo, I don't have a lot of free time to spare, so a program like this makes sense for me. Overall, this continues to be a great tool for dealing with a stressful challenge each year.
What's great about it: Simple, Straightforward, More Accurate, Transfer of Prior Year's Info. for Comparison
What's not so great: PA eFile should be free. Some of the guiding text contained minor grammatical errors that were misleading.

Safety Precaution

After entering all of my expenses - I accidentally chose the "Use Standard Deduction" and lost all of my data.
Had to start over. Would like to see a better WARNING ONCE OR TWICE - to avoid this catastrophe in the future. - or maybe auto save before deleting all that time consuming information.
