Made a Confusing Situation Easier

This was my first full year of operating my own company. We are expanding rapidly, but in these early stages I did not want to waste capital on any administrative functions that I did not have to. Taxes was one of the areas that I was concerned with and Turbotax helped take a lot of the fear out of that issue
What's great about it: Nice step by step
What's not so great: not enough information in the detailed help
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Another Sucessful Tax Filing

I have use TurboTax for years. It is always enjoyable, given the subject matter.
What's great about it: Ease of use, ability to complete some complex items and overall review of what was entered.
What's not so great: None

Very user-friendly. I particularly liked the donations to charity section which values used items.

ohio tax return

I was very pleased with the ease of doing my taxes; however when it came to e-filing my state return, I did have difficulty following the instructions provided. It took me to too many screens and I had difficulty with my passwords(probably my fault) I am not very computer literate. The overall experience was good.
What's great about it: easy instructions
What's not so great: had trouble e-filing-trying to figure out how

Easy To Use

The software more than met my expectations. It was easy to use, understand, and navigate through my taxes and the State taxes only took a few minutes to complete. I felt confident after the TurboTax reviews were made to check for error and audit issues. Overall great product I will use again next year.
What's great about it: The software was easy to use, understand, and navigate through my taxes.
What's not so great: Printed forms had to be ajusted to fit page.

Very good this year!

I understand that you have to deal with the IRS regulations but this year for the first time there was a problem with my husband's THird party sick leave. With no amount in box 1, it said I couldn't efile. Luckily the turbo tax question/answer area lead me to know that I didn't even have to report this W-2, so I deleted it and then was able to efile my taxes. What a GREAT system! I've used turbo tax for years and now my children use it too!
What's great about it: It walked me through all the parts I had to deal with and showed me last years as a reminder! Great system!
What's not so great: It doesn't have my brokerage, ING, to download directly. I hate entering all these numbers! Please add them!

Easy return. Did it all manually

e-filed state return ok. Federal return required an update which I tried 5 times & did a review each time without satisfying anybody particularly me, I finally snail mailed a copy of my federal return which lowers my respect for Inuit.
What's great about it: Quick & easy
What's not so great: eFiling
