Good program

Overall, was easy to use and great for verifying your info. One problem is if you have more than one business, it assumes the same items (startup) applies to new businesses.
What's great about it: Easy to use, easy to file
What's not so great: sometimes pulls up wrong questions for businesses

We are a small farming family. I use turbo each year and manage. Each year, it appears, you are adding and improving the farm section. It would be nice to have a program that was geared toward farming that we could buy. Otherwise, I think turbo is a great program.
What's great about it: has some farm

I've used Turbo Tax before and they always seem to change the program format, but it's always been easy to use. I didn't feel this version was as user friendly but that might have something to do with the complexity of the new tax code, trying to make things easier to go through, and the fact that my tax situation changed a lot.
Otherwise I thought that some of the explanations could have had a little more detail and information to offer than just a generic answer.

Easy for anyone

TurboTax was easy to use, steps you right through the process, and then you can efile. It was simple and it double checks your return to make sure you didn't make any mistakes.
Only thing I didn't like is it made you buy Nitro to preview the return & print it. Everyone has Acrobat not sure why this changed.

Turbo Tax 2013

I had done my own calculation first. However, Turbo Tax came up with deductions I had not thought of--saving a nice amount owed. It was worth the price of e-filing.
What's great about it: As easy as a warm knife through butter.
What's not so great: None can think of.
