have used turbo tax for many years with good luck but his year I I had a lot of trouble with getting it all to fall into place which took me a lot longer to get it done
What's great about it: all had good luck
What's not so great: this year i had a lot of trouble with getting it done

I don't know why but this year was the easiest, fastest and simplest to file.
What's great about it: easy to use simple, to understand explanations

I could not e-file for a whole week because no one said I needed to restart my computer to make the update take hold. I found that very annoying. Otherwise, the program worked fine

Filing made Easy

Best part was that when my first filing was returned (my typo), email/text was sent to me and the program walked me thru fixing it.
What's great about it: Asked all the right questions

State of Connecticut form needs revision to allow the user to make modifications before filing.
What's great about it: Once there is a history, makes filling out the forms easy
What's not so great: state of connecticut form would not let me make changes to data that was entered.

NOT BAD, BUT NOT SIMPLIFIED ENOUGH

MY OPINIONS HAVE MOSTLY BEEN STATED IN THE CONS SECTION, BUT I WOULD LIKE TO ADD THAT IT DOES NOT PROVIDE ENOUGH OPTIONS/HELP FOR SOMEONE LIKE ME WHO TRAVELS FOR WORK AND MAY WORK IN DIFFERENT STATES THEN WHERE THEY LIVE OR HAVE PERMANENT RESIDENCY (AND ALL THE DIFFERENT SITUATIONS THAT MAY ARISE FROM THE DIFFERENT LOCATIONS/TRAVELING). ALSO, THERE WERE CERTAIN INSTANCES WHERE TURBOTAX ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT CERTAIN AMOUNTS/FIGURES THAT I AM NOT SURE WHERE THEY CALCULATED/OR WHAT WAS CALCULATED THAT THEY WERE ASKING MORE INFORMATION ABOUT.... IT WOULD HELP IF THEY EXPLAINED WHERE THEY GOT THOSE FIGURES/CALCULATIONS FROM.
What's great about it: IT IS SOMEWHAT THOROUGH (SOMETIMES BETTER THAN OTHER SERVICES FROM WHAT I HEAR AT TIMES).
What's not so great: NOT SIMPLIFIED ENOUGH, NEEDS MORE EXPLANATIONS IN LAYMEN'S TERMS, NOT ENOUGH OPTIONS/HELP
