Easy as pie

Love Turbo Tax and have used it for years which makes it even easier.
What's great about it: Steps you right through it
What's not so great: Still can not understand 529 plan distributions and American Education Credit

I've used TurboTax for the last six year and have never been disappointed in its ease of data entry. It is easy to use and goes through my financial records in a very systematic process.

Overall good experience. Slowed down by not getting update for State Sales Tax deduction (using a copy of Turbotax purchased in January - didn't have opportunity to get update on missing form).
Also, had to fill out irrelevant information about auto use related to 2012 business that was inactive in 2013.

What's great about it: thorough, accurate, saves having to fill out large numbers of forms
What's not so great: did not automatically check for updates at start of process.

Great program, Peace of Mind, Great Process

I have been using Turbo Tax for years. I am very satisfied. The audit defense is a great program to give the user a peace of mind and to feel comfortable with the process.
If you have all of your data ready for input, a typical filing takes less than 2 hours for State and Federal, payments, and Filing.
What's great about it: ALL data from previous year is at your fingertips. This makes for a seamless, easy, and quick process.
What's not so great: It would be nice if the "pure forms" (as they print out) were a little easier to access electronically.

Well done. I like the comprehensive reference database and the ease of use. I have been using TurboTax every year since I retired from the Army.
What's great about it: Easy, explanative, fast reference resources
What's not so great: Need a better search engine (people speak)

Makes easy business of complicated taxes

I've been using Turbo Tax since it first came out, before Windows, and it has been a great time saver. There have been times in the past when TT was not accurate to the law and I had to use the override feature, but the folks at TT made sure those problems were corrected. So far, I haven't come across a situation it couldn't handle. I will definitely use TT again next year and the year after that.
What's great about it: easy to use, answers readily available
What's not so great: none this year!
