No longer worth it for me

I've always had frustrations with this software, but this year it was at a whole new level. If you have even a slightly complicated income situation, it's not worth it. For example, there was a glitch in one of the income sections, which others had had problems with and posted in the online community, but there were no solutions and it wasn't fixed. So I was stuck, without any options and no support. Beware.
What's great about it: Used to like this
What's not so great: But glitch without solution is making me drop this next year
My return was fairly complex due to property rentals, stock sales and K-1 due to Sub S and Estate matters. I also discovered that apparently Turbo incorrectly calculates the depreciation for rental property. It appears to be using the IRS tables which I discovered does not give the correct SL depreciation. The IRS written instructions do give correct $$ for depreciation - not so with the tables. The software gives no hint or way that I could tell to correct prior year numbers so wound up spending a bunch of time with the IRS guides concerning same.
What's great about it: Fairly decent guideline
What's not so great: On complex matters in gains/losses can be tail chasing
Year to year no one remembers how to do everything. A short primer of how last years files need to be present on the current computer before loading any new Turbo Tax software would be helpful. I have replaced computers and created redundant back-ups successfully confusing myself as to where files have gone or not. I have resisted cloud mainly because what I do not see becomes all the more forgotten. When the cloud stops moving I might figure out how to use it. Until then, a year is a long time to forget in what part of the planet I filed something that was important. Maybe a permanent sticky note will help. Turbo Tax files are in computer....?
What's great about it: Form access has become easier.
What's not so great: I cannot delete false start forms...if you misstep begining no way back.
A excellent tool to prepare taxes. As I double checked and triple checked my information, I realized that it is so much easier than figuring out what form everything is to be entered on. Just entering information from my worksheet was a breeze and not stressful at all. My only concern was entering the 1099-M's and 1099-Pat Div. I ended up deleting them from the 1st screens I was asked to enter them on. Really great way to do taxes from home. Thank you!!!
What's great about it: Detail questions help in case I missed anything.
What's not so great: The 1099's entry screen is not entering them into taxes.
