best turbotax in years

This has been the best quality and stable version in at least 4 years.
Work is need on import from Quicken does not match quicken print view for schedule C or E
Schedule K-1 Can not enter as received you have to break it into multiple k-1 for entry into Turbotax . Especially if you have line 1,2,3 filled out on the K-1
1098-T need more on the step by step assumes you have entrees in line 1 but practically many times there is data at the bottom of the form in turbotax you have to go to the form view to complete
What's great about it: works very well great improvement in stabiity and qualityl
What's not so great: needs more work on schedule E,C,k-1 and imports from quicken 1098-t

Mostly worked very well. Following are problems that could be fixed.
It would be nice to be told earlier in the process that the names of dividend payers should be shortened.
It would be nice if question could be answered as easily from TurboTax as they are from Google.

Wish you could click on the number in the box on the 1040 and it would take to where that number can from. Also other Forms as well. Your phone help was fabulous. Thanks I worked in a tax office for 5 years so I have experence with other tax software. I'll give it a B+
What's great about it: Liked the short cuts to see the information your working on. Especially the back button.
What's not so great: Wish you could click on the number in the box on the 1040 and it would take to where that number can from.

What is prior depreciation? I never found an understandable explanation in Turbo Tax. It was a deep aggravation. I got more insight from Internet searches. The 2013 tax return was going well, then this portion was unworkable.
What's great about it: Most instructions and examples understandable
What's not so great: Highly technical entries are not easy to understand, not simplified.

No warnings!

I have used TurboTax since their second year and have overall enjoyed the experience and fee savings (don't have to pay a CPA). Sometimes however, there have been changes in the tax code - or upcoming landmark dates affecting my tax bill - to which the program has not alerted me. The most recent was the loss of the child tax credit due to "aging out." If TurboTax had warned me of the impending ineligibility then funds would have been set aside to cover the change.
I won't stop using TurboTax - but I'll be less trusting of it's tax forecasting.
What's great about it: Easy to answer questions. Clear and concise.
What's not so great: Turbotax 2013 didn't warn me that I'd be losing a deduction so that I could prepare for the added expense in 2014.

Turbo Tax, Yes! IRS, No!

Haven't filed my mom's returns, yet. I hope the K-1 investment nightmare has been fixed, last year was awful. Again, not the fault of Turbo tax, the IRS tax code just seems to want to mess with you.
What's great about it: Easy to use, gives adequate explanations
What's not so great: Shortcomings aren't those of Turbo, it's the IRS's ambiguity.
