Overwhelming task made easy

I dreaded filing my taxes this year especially. I moved from a state with no taxes to a state that taxes you at each and every level. I only worked in the state of deadly taxes for a few months, and did not even know where to begin. Turbo Tax made it easy to enter the actual income I earned in this new state, and to make sure I didn't pay taxes on my entire yearly income. It also made it easy to file and pay the city taxes I didn't even know I owed.
I had issues with my Mac as well, and was able to research the answer and get it resolved rather quickly. I will definitely use TT again and recommend it to friends and family!
What's great about it: easy to use & great support

big objection to your adds putting stuff in boxes tell people nothing about the movers credit

Still the Best Tax Program!

I found the online help to be very helpful. Most parts went smoothly until it came to the Royalties and Rents for oil lease bonuses. I hope this can be "user friendlier" and easier to understand for next year. I have used Turbo Tax for years and will continue to use it. Thank you for such a great product year after year!

Turbo Tax - Easiest way to do your taxes

doing your personal taxes is very easy. With turbo tax, even owning a small business you can still do your own taxes and safe a lot of money

I have used TurboTax for five years, and find it generally dependable and accurate. I have also used it for efiling, which has gone without a hitch. I did have an error two years ago, which I thought should have been detected by the program, but was not. Took me the better part of a year to sort it out with the IRS. But, fundamentally, the mistake was mine.
What's great about it: Generally easy to follow.
What's not so great: A few steps were not well explained...particularly in reporting royalities.

state just says sent supporting doc.s..???? guess I will send them all in....old instructions listed everything that was needed. New ...not as clear...for us dummies.

Great Job - Easy-Peasy

Menus, ability to bring last year's data, pre-checking and post-checking of data and forms is all good, easy and trustworthy. Makes me feel at least as confident as hauling shoe boxes to an accountant and the look on their face as I write them a check for at least twice as much. With TurboTax I get to make that smile to myself ...

What's not so great: Would like to adjust screen size
