When entering data in K-1 forms it is impossible to uncheck a line once you have checked it. I reported the same issue last year and nothing was done about it.
What's great about it: Easy to use. It stores data from previous years.
What's not so great: Cannot delete some check marks

Tedious business issue

One issue this year...an expensed business item from 2005 appeared in a deprecation form and would not let us continue to finish. Expensed not depreciated item...real pain and finally deleted the form after much effort and time
What's great about it: do it myself
What's not so great: could not understand why it wanet depriciation info about an old expensed business item

Easy Tax Filing

This is my second year filing my taxes by myself and saving money by doing so. Can't imagine going back and having someone else do them.
What's great about it: love the step by step instructions and double checking at the end
What's not so great: none

Why can't the government streamline the process

One of these days we will get a flat tax and all of this heartache and headaches will go away. When you think about it TurboTax makes most of this a long ordeal but at least with this software we can survive the process. Turbo tax gives you the ability to follow complete and specific instructions and hopefully stay out of trouble. If we look at the record keeping the government requires each year it becomes a little more automated but still is ridiculously time consuming.
What's great about it: Contains all necessary forms and filing information
What's not so great: Only missing very detailed business deductions

turbo tax should be used by anyone wanting to do their own taxes and get the best return possible
What's great about it: it has helped out every year and saved me money
What's not so great: sometimes hard to go back to specfic forms when needed

Easy to use and very practical. Worth the cost as it saves on CPA fees. I have used this software for 20 years or more.
