Not as easy to understand this year more simple language needed and explain at end which pages needed to send.
What's great about it: Laid out for easy access
What's not so great: Some headings are misleading and confusing.

USED FOR SEVERAL YEARS NOW AND HAVE NEVER HAD ANY KIND OF PROBLEMS. HELPS KEEP PAPER WORK STRAIGHT FOR NEXT YEAR SO IT'S A BREEZE WHEN FILLING OUT.
What's great about it: ASKED EVCERY QUEATION NEEDED
What's not so great: DON'T KNOW OF ANY.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

My Experience
on March 23, 2014

I've been using TurboTax for more than 10 years. But this time it took me many hours to resolve installation problems for 2013 version! - Bad systems test and quality control before GA!
Fewer or missing help details on various questions when dealing with college grants, scholarships, summer internship, term-time jobs, work study, and what information a college student should keep for tax purpose.
What's great about it: Still a trusted and convenient tool for tax return.
What's not so great: Quality and user-friendliness seem decreasing year over year

This is the third year in a row the package has charged me full price for the "FREE" state refund. I will not be renewing my subscription!!
What's not so great: Charged again for the "FREE" state e-file

Good, Accurate, Easy to download transaction detail.
Just one real complaint and this is usability... the size of each screen is different depending on the amount of information asked, so the NEXT or BACK buttons are at different locations at the bottom of the screen. Should put in the same place at the top of the screen so it is quick and easy to review and navigate past unused items. Also, often on review, I am required to reanswer questions that have already been asked and answered... e.g. home office use
What's great about it: Quick, easy entry for personal and Sched C business
What's not so great: Cannot do simple Trust or Estate (family decedents) returns
Pros: I moved, I bought or sold investments

still state filing issues
on March 23, 2014
Posted by: clayton123
from Gulport, ms
everything goes well until I try to electronic file my state return. I keep getting the same message>
"not eligible for electronic filing"
"returns that claim employee business expenses on form 80-108 & not individual federal form 2106 or 2106EZ are not eligible for electronic transfer.
Note: I have no business expenses, since I do not have a business.
My return process should have been very simple ,since I just 1-W2 & some college expenses.
What's great about it: fed return data worked well
What's not so great: had to paper file State return again this year due to error message
Pros: I moved
