Turbo tax step-by-step set up is very easy and make filling simple. I like the print forms that have a break down of tax returns from previous years. The online support was very helpful since it was my first time filling out forms for my small business. An when I needed extra help I was able to speak with a tax associate.
What's great about it: It was easy to get in touch with support and I didn't have to wait on the phone.

Frustrating

I found it very frustrating that I couldn't locate for review or identify a way to print just State quarterly vouchers for 2014. Apparently the only way to get access to them is to print the entire return. I have completed my return though I do not want to file at this time because brokerage firms are notorious for sending amended year end amended/corrected statements.
There needs to be an option to access and print these quarterly estimated tax vouchers.

Calculations sheets are very clear & it gives guidance for preparing data for the next year.

Failed to file electronically

I have used TurboTax for years with no problems. This time when I tried to e-file, both Federal and State returns were rejected twice. The second time I used AGI from prior year, which was correct (as I called IRS to verify). I had to file by mail anyway. Never had this problem before.
But the program was easy to use as before. Perhaps when I file another return I will be as satisfied as I had been in the past.
What's great about it: easy return preparation
What's not so great: tried to efile -- rejected twice, so had to mail anyway. State e-file fee was just added expense with no results

Great for pastors

As a pastor, I have different filing requirements and turbo tax is a great tool to help me get through everything fast! I love that it walks me through step by step and also gives me protection against an audit some day!

Great Program

I continue to use this program year after year and they keep making it easier to use. Why pay a professional when you can do it on your on with this program. I plan to continue to use for my personal taxes in future years.

We've used TurboTax for many years and would not think of another way of filing our return. The Business portion has been a great help for Betty's self-employed business return. Step by step is reassuring for making sure nothing is overlooked.

Tax Preparation Made Easy

A terrific and easy to use program. I have a fairly complicated return and the program took me through it step by step with clear explanations when needed
What's great about it: Very easy to use and very clear instructions
What's not so great: not easy to go back to specific section to correct
