SOME CUMBERSOME INPUT AREAS

INPUT WOULD BE MUCH QUICKER FOR AREAS LIKE MULTIPLE DIVIDEND SOURCES IF THEY COULD BE ENTERED ON A COLUMNAR SPREADSHEET RATHER THAN INDIVIDUAL WORKSHEETS FOR EACH ITEM -- SAME FOR INTEREST SOURCES. I WAS IMPRESSED BY ATTENTION TO DETAIL.
What's great about it: VERY THOROUGH AND COMPLETE
What's not so great: SLOW INPUT FORMAT

Easy, Breezy!

As a non profit group/church the error check needs to be tweeked. We do not withhold anything for our pastor as he files self-employed and takes care of his own taxes.
What's great about it: Quick, easy to complete.
What's not so great: Error review for church/nonprofit needs work.

Simple, fast filing

TurboTax has saved my thousands of dollars over the years by enabling me to do my own taxes.
What's great about it: Ease of use
What's not so great: Had to wait for federal government forms to be released
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I have used Turbo Tax for years now and I really like the program.
This year, however, I (along with others) found a problem with the State of Iowa program. Blank lines were inserted in the Interest and Dividend forms. The work around was to place an x in each empty line. I hope, however, that this doesn't happen again next year.
Also, I couldn't imagine why I wasn't paying any taxes on over $11,000 of income. Finally I found the Qualified Dividends and Capital Gain Tax Worksheet on the IRS website and worked through that. If the program had included that it would have saved me a sleepless night.
What's great about it: Intuitive and fairly easy to use.
What's not so great: Problem with the State of Iowa taxes.

Confused

I felt this year like I was not saving money by using TurboTax software. The question/answer format is very helpful but this years questions didn't make sense or didn't help. It left me
at dead ends in some sections, the help section didn't clear it
up or explain the confusion. Overall, this year wasn't as helpful as prior years.

What's great about it: Allows me to do my own taxes without reading tons of laws.
What's not so great: I've used TurboTax for 6 years, this year was the least helpful. It was very confusing, not the normal explanations.

I have enjoyed working with turbo tax for many years. For some reason the system would not download last years return. When I tried to start over to do it, the system would not let me go back to that screen so I could maybe start over. That part missing slowed down my doing the return quite a bit.
Many of the learn more options would not produce anything.

What's not so great: turbo would not download my 2012 records for comparison
