Great tool - even if I still owed a lot of $

With multiple schedules, my return can be complicated. With Turbo Tax, even a technological troglodyte like myself was able to complete an accurate return with little difficulty. (You still have to gather the info - but without TT - I'd have little chance of getting it right.)
What's great about it: inport data from investment income a huge plus.

Fed okay, state had problems

Turbo Tax worked well, like always with the Fed return and filing. I have a home business so help is much appreciated. However, the state tax part (for Iowa) had a couple of bugs in it, which wouldn't allow me to continue. The information was in the file, but it wouldn't allow me to 'continue' because of an endless loop of asking to fill a box, then adding another box, etc. Finally, I went back to the main menu, skipped the section, and finished okay.
What's great about it: it was a bit changed from last year in organization, but once I figured that out fed was okay and easy to do
What's not so great: My state, Iowa, taxes had a couple of endless loops that would not allow me to finish the taxes.

Turbo Tax Saves Money

I have used TurboTax for years and have recommended this software to many people who have also stopped paying large fees to large corporate companies to do what they can do themselves. It is easy from a simple 1040 to a business or rental properties. I will keep recommending Turbo Tax to anyone I speak to for years to come. Thank you for making a software for everyone of any educational level. April

Turbo tax is a very easy to use program overall. There are places when I have had a hard time figuring out if I needed to enter information or could skip it (thank goodness for Google/Wikipedia). After using the program for 2 years, you can go back and look at the previous year(s) return to help with entries (the past totals show on this years worksheets for your information). I have no desire to go to a competitor who at a larger cost to me would try to help me get back a portion of my "billion".
What's great about it: step by step
What's not so great: sometimes I have to look up terms in order to understand a question correctly

This was the first year I did my own taxes and had a new business to boot! Turbo Taxes guided me through each step. It was very easy to follow and a great product. It takes away the fear of "Taxes"!

April 15? No Problem!

I found the Home and Business edition of Turbo Tax for 2013 extremely easy to use. Started with "Step by Step" and sailed right through; then reviewed each line and searched individual forms. Quick, easy and intuitive. Is that where "Intuit" comes from?!!! Highly recommend any of the products!
What's great about it: User-friendly, easy to install, free Federal e-file
