Turbotax Home and Business 2013

Once again, a great tool for tax prep. 10 years home, business and more... and it's all there.
good to note that if you have carryforward losses, or any losses to carry back or forward... you need to know more about handling them than the system... but TT support has it handled. I spoke in detail with a CPA through the help system and I feel great that all was handled perfectly.
OBTW, I have paid tax accountants to do taxes... and I have had to fire them... with Turbotax and good knowledge of what you are doing, a tough and expensive return is made easy and affordable.
What's great about it: Full featured and ready for most every situation

I've used TurboTax for years - Every year it becomes simpler to walk through - Of course I have to assemble ALL my info before I start - Once one is really ready it's now become like a stroll through the park
What's great about it: Quick - made simple - dandy program -
What's not so great: One negative - A Fee for state taxes
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

TurboTax does it again!

I've used Turbotax now for ten years. During that time I've encountered fairly complex tax situations including my own business (LLC), moves, multi-state income, home and security sales, etc. Each time Turbotax has guided me through without a hitch. One year we hired an accountant to do my parents taxes and the next year, when I did them with Turbotax, I found a $3000 error that the accountant had made! So, I would definitely recommend Turbotax.
What's great about it: Accurate, easy to use, maximizes my refund
What's not so great: Could use more assistance in forms mode
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved, I bought or sold investments

Overall, a great package. Help section could use a little beefing up, but as long as you don't mind jumping over to the IRS website, perfectly workable.
What's great about it: Guided step by step
What's not so great: Could use additional help on some deductions

The software keeps saying that my state forms are not ready & in fact they have been since the 1st, I am not sure on why my program will not update/download to fix the problem. I am now forced to mail in my state return. This is so frustrating!!
What's not so great: forms are ready but won't download

I can't file a state return because it says ohio 1040ez not supported, file by mail. I try to print the return to mail and DO NOT FILE FORM NOT FINAL IS PRINTED ON THE FORM. The cover sheet says 1040 EZ does not need filed because of income level. Took six tries to file the federal return because the message said I needed an update but none were available. I kept trying to file and it finally went maybe but I didn't do an update. This is the worst year ever using your software.
What's not so great: too many problems

Easy to use

I have been using TurboTax for a number of a years. A couple years ago I tried H & R Block software but switched back to TurboTax last year. I believe it is the best tax software out there. My only issue is with the inability this year to evaluate what my 2014 estimated taxes should be. Last year after I was done with my taxes it took me to an area that allowed me to adjust my financial circumstances for the new year if I knew of any changes. That would have been especially helpful this year as my income has changed substantially. My ES vouchers printed but with my current earnings. I looked all over and couldn't find anyplace to adjust my earnings for the new year. I went to help and posted the question and it appears like I'm not the only one with this question. Please put this back in for next year.
What's great about it: User friendly, walks you through everything
What's not so great: This year there was no area to evaluate estimated taxes for 2014
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
