Quick & Easy!

TurboTax made took the guesswork and difficulty out of filing my taxes and as a result I was able to get them done rather quickly and with confidence that there are done right!
What's great about it: The software is extremely easy to use and even imported my W-2 info from ADP! Awesome!
What's not so great: None
Pros: I had a baby

THINGS THAT SHOULD BE CHANGED

It is a great program but a few things should be changed. You should ask to check for updates before we start the return not at the end. Secondly the SSA1042s should be shown on the 1040 forms as many people that receive social security in Europe receive that form. the SSA1099 does not have tax withheld, however the SSA1042 does and that is why it should be shown on the 1040 forms. This is important for those who are filing to get a refund.
What's not so great: YOU SHOULD ASK ABOUT THE UPDATES BEFORE A PERSON HAS TO START THE RETURN,

I have been doing taxes for a lot of years and can say that TurboTax has been my electronic tool of choice! It is exceptionally easy to use, it is intuitive and provides impeccable service whether it is 2PM or 2AM. TurboTax continues to make my life easier and I actually look forward to tax time. Many thanks Intuit!
What's great about it: Focused on what I need and helpful to the highest degree. Very intuitive and easy to navigate
What's not so great: Cons??!! What cons? :)
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

TurboTax is Great

TurboTax is a great product. I have used it for many years. It covers every aspect of tax preparation and filing. It is easy to use and navigation is seamless.

Easier than I thought, but still confusing!

I was amazed with how user friendly 99% of this program was. Last year we used a CPA and we didn't understand each number. This year we input the figures ourselves, so we know what was represented. Thanks for helping with this nerve racking task.
What's great about it: I was able to get my returns done with professional looking results.
What's not so great: The section on autos used for rental property was confusing.

Mac / Tubrbo Tax

Turbo Tax is not very compatible with Mac. I was unable to complete my W-2s in the Mac environment. I had to do extra purchases to run Turbo Tax in Windows for easy W-2 preparing.
What's great about it: I have been using Turbo Tax for a long time so I know when changes are made.
What's not so great: Turbo Tax is not very compatible with Mac
