Excellent Product - As It Has Been for Years

I zipped through my return in one evening, went to bed to sleep on it, then revisited the return the next day to clean up some of the errors that I made. It was easy to go back and make corrections and when I had a question the help surprisingly enough actually helped. A great product of course I've been using it for the last 10 years so I am kind of prejudiced. Keep up the great work.
What's great about it: Easy to Understand, clear and concise, covers all the bases
What's not so great: Sometimes assumes the client knows more than they do
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Good, but...

I've used TurboTax for probably 15 or more years. The software is reasonably intuitive and prompts you at the proper moment. What's missing, in my opinion, is a better method of prompting you for documentation when you have kids in college. Overall, not a bad program and I would recommend. You really need to do your homework before you begin your taxes if you have kids in college.
What's great about it: Fairly intutive. Prompts are rather straight and to the point.
What's not so great: If you have kids in college, watch out.

As a small business owner taxes can be a hassle. I used to employ accountants but they cost me more time and money than I would ever have to spend using Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Quick, easy and professional
What's not so great: Price...up every year!

Nice Program with Limited Value

Program worked well as usual, but this year I could not update the program without administrator access to the PC. This was completely unworkable for every step of the process, and is a new inconvenience.
Next year, I will probably switch back to TaxCut because I get 5 Federal e-files for other members of the family. If TurboTax offers more e-files and at least one State e-file, I can comfortably stay with it.
What's great about it: Very good user interface and Q&A process
What's not so great: Only one federal e-file and no state e-file

I wanted to capitalize real estate taxes, but cannot find how to make the election without manually sending a printed return with election attached.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
