WHEN YOU ARE DOING A RETURN THAT YOU KNOW WILL USE A 1040EX, OR 1040A, YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE TO ENTER, OR GO THROUGH SO MANY ENTRIES,

Over all a good program that keeps you aware of what your doing, This is the 3rd year of using it and this year did not take as long as the last few years

It's best to follow the guide instead of trying to save time by going directly to the forms that you remember from last year.
What's great about it: A smooth process that saves time and headache.

A great time saver

TurboTax Home and Business is a huge time saver for me. Its like having a tax expert sitting right in front of me and preparing my taxes. It automatically calculates depreciation on business equipment and figures losses and profits. It automatically figures capital gains and losses on investments by accessing your investment accounts online. It figures business expenses that qualify as deductions. I have been using TurboTax since 2002 and I don't know what I would do without it. I would never be able to gather all the information a tax professional would need to prepare my taxes.
What's great about it: Eliminates a trip to a tax preparer
What's not so great: None

I love the software; it is so easy to pull in the last years info and the tips are great. I just wish it wasn't so darned expensive and the states were not priced per state. Otherwise, I love it.
What's great about it: Easy to enter the data, many tips and informative notes
What's not so great: Each state and E-filing fees -- getting more expensive each year

Another year of Turbo Tax

I love doing my own taxes with Turbo Tax. It used to be so painful to pay a tax preparer to do my taxes; any refund received was blown on their fees. Now I know that I'm in control of the preparation and there are no fees beyond the purchase price of the software. Turbo Tax makes it very easy.

Amazing

Turbo tax is hands down the best tax prep package in the market. I have used the product since 2002, and while I have had an opportunity to try other products for free, I would always use turbo tax over anything else.
What's great about it: Turbotax makes doing taxes so much easier.
What's not so great: Would like to be able to print any page not just forms
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments
