10 Years and Counting!

The fact that I've been using TT H&B for over 10 years speaks for itself. I have never paid to have my taxes done by a tax service and pride myself on understanding deductions and my expenses. It also educates me about potential deductions that I may otherwise miss resulting in my maximum return.
What's great about it: 2012-Much easier to use, more clear and concise
What's not so great: Not enough information imports from prior year

Controlling your money

I believe in turbo tax for my business. I would just like to be able to find a quick phone number to call someone for a quick question. It took me almost 45 minutes to find a phone number just call you and get this resolved. Once called I had a great rep assist me and she did fantastic.

Mostly straightforward - investments challenging

Been using TurboTax for at least 5 years. Every year it gets better.
Would like to see more examples for a broader range of investment inputs.
Integration of onscreen help and web based help was done fairly well.

What's great about it: Fairly clear path to walk for all the entries. Liked the "What's This" and other onscreen explanations.
What's not so great: Needed many more EXAMPLES on investments. Also, cashless ISO purchase/sell poorly explained.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Wish I can click an amount or an entry from any screen to see its components similar to clicking an amount in an excel pivot table line to see all rows included in calculating the amount

2013 Taxes

The Turbo Tax system is logical, comprehensive and pretty easy to use. I had one item that kept showing up in the Review process and I could not resolve the issue. I filed by forcing an entry in the field which produced a final tax liability that I did not understand.
What's great about it: comprehensive process
What's not so great: had one item that kept getting flagged in "Review" and could not eliminate

The dreaded tax deadline made easy. This is great for the average person trying to figure out our ridiculous tax code.
What's great about it: Got through it in 1 evening
What's not so great: None I can think of
