EXCELLENT!

We've been using TurboTax for several years and have always had great success. We've had to call for support and the representatives are very professional and extremely kind too! They actually apologize for the trouble we're having (even when it's our "stupidity"). We've thought of using an accountant … but why waste the money?
What's great about it: EASY TO USE
What's not so great: LOTS OF FORMS (at least we have lots of them)
Gets more cumbersome to use each year. It would really be helpful if the program would show the form/schedule/worksheet that the program is working on at the same time the user is entering the information so the impact of the information is understood immediately. Also it would be helpful when TT is calculating something that the program lets you know whether or not all of the data (like deductions) will be able to be used or not. Turbo Tax is becoming more of a data entry system then an education system and it should be both.
What's great about it: automatically uploads last years data; seems to cover all of the bases
What's not so great: needs to show a split screen with the form TT is working on as well as the topic page
could not file electronic because of mistakes that I could not fix even though I tried till I could no longer figure out why it would not keep the updates I kept fixing.
What's great about it: easy to go through
What's not so great: had mistakes but could not change them tried over 12 times
Would have gotten Five Stars and no complaints except for the community property part. Seems that they put the cart before the horse and then shot the horse on that one. Form is next to impossible to figure out and information has to be entered backwards. From the help Q&A it seems that everyone is lost in that section as well.
What's great about it: Easy to find and fill out most forms
What's not so great: Comunity property segment still needs lots of work
Had trouble getting to K-1 data entry after going past it. Also didn't see state (GA) tax refund on 1040 even though TT had me confirm it - I double checked it.
What's great about it: Importing data from financial institutions makes it really convenient.
What's not so great: But then it imports too much and complains about possible duplicates
How come you can not provide this simple but frequent procedure? We recently married, both of us do our taxes on turbo tax , but I could not input both our returns into one joint return. Umm, you should get better.
What's great about it: Confidence in your process
What's not so great: Recently married, no process to go Joint return?
