I love the ease of use, But till I found the stupid mistake I made in the first part of my personal stuff I was pulling my hair out. It turns out they ask for all the business stuff in the personal area a second time, but it is not used the second time, just makes for easier errors and increases your audit risk in the indicator. Took all that out and all the errors poof gone!
Still love it, but really wish i had known this days ago.

Quick and Easy!

Turbo Tax is a great alternative to heading over to an office and having an accountant do this. It's cheaper and faster, and possibly even more thorough. It walked me through everything step by step. There were two questions that stumped me but then I cleared that up and it was no prob.

This is my 3rd year of Turbo Tax and I have a small business. I find it easier each year, the only thing I would like is a dictionary. whoever wrote the tax law did it with many terms the common person would never know. TT did ask most of the questions, and it really helped. If I can do it anyone can.
What's great about it: Pretty easy to use
What's not so great: Had questions that were not answered

Easy and Quick

My tax situation changed in 2013 for my spouse and me. I bought the Home and Business software. Turbo Tax knew exactly what to do with the changes and how to account for them. The software helped with issues I was unfamiliar with. Hopefully next year, taking suggestions made during tax preparation, planning better will reap benefits. Turbo Tax is very user friendly.
What's great about it: Easy Guide asks all the right questions.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Shocking Refund

Been using Turbo Tax for over 20 yrs. This year was truly the easiest to use. E-file was the best. I did have trouble in years past with E-file & spent the $$ to file state a 2-3 years ago and ended up mailing instead because I could not get it to E-file, after reading reviews I wasn't the only one with that trouble. Never did get my money back, but this year eased the pain from past years.
What's great about it: easy to use

Never a pleasure but less of a chore

Overall a great product which I've been using consistently for years. Except for the one time I tried H & R Block program. That sold me as a lifetime customer of Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Very simple step by step guidance.
What's not so great: Sometimes you have to sort of know where it's going in order to make sure you answer the question correctly.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

OHIO State & home and business

YOU need to redo OHIO tax credit section and provide ALL the Forms for MAX. CREDIT . NOT GOOD.
FOR FEDREAL make it easier to have two different small business operating in the same household. AND proper easier questions for a husband business and a wife's business.
JUST too confusing with the inadequate questions you ask . AND NEED to adjust explanation and questions when you have small business credits for the wife's business and then the husbands business. I had the home and business version and paid extra for it but it needs to be improved.
