great for small business owners

I appreciate the professionalism and yet ease of use of this software. I continually get better at paper record keeping each year do to the user-friendly categories of Turbo Tax. I am an artist and each year I keep improving in my craft and getting more business - thankfully Turbo Tax makes paying quarterlies and the end-of-year paperwork easy.
What's great about it: prompts you and gets you to think about deductions you would have missed
What's not so great: still dealing with complicated forms but it is a necessary evil

2014 Turbo Tax

This version of Turbo Tax was EXCELLENT except for the missing or well hidden forms (i.e. 5498, etc.) showing that a 1099R was rolled over. No description of this in the help files or community help. My investment forms were said to be transferred to Turbo Tax, but this function did not work on the most complicated item requiring extensive typing and checking of typing. DEDUCT one star!
What's great about it: Easy to complete
What's not so great: Missing some critical forms (ie 5498, etc.)
Pros: I bought or sold investments

I have done my own taxes for many years, long hand the paper way. You give me the ease and confidence that I have paid my taxes, but not over paid my taxes. thank you

Disappointed program didn't remember 1099 as it had been included for last 7 years. Just a distraction that might missed.
What's great about it: Remembers info
What's not so great: didn't remember 1099 for PERS had to type it in

2013 Taxes Prepared

We have used Turbo Tax from 11 countries over the years, and now that we are back in the US, we are continuing to depend on it to help us with our federal and state filings.
What's great about it: Quick, Easy, Detailed. For more than a decade TURBOTAX has helped me file.
What's not so great: Working Through Proceed and Barter Exchange transactions can be burdensome
Pros: I moved, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Great except for K-1

As usual, TT made tax time tolerable. My only comment is that I would like to see more "Help" options for the K-1 schedules for S-Corps. What TT asked for on the screen and what I had on my K-1 didn't jive very well and it was difficult to figure out how to properly input the K-1 info into TT.
What's great about it: made it painless as usual.
What's not so great: Needed a lot more help with my K-1 schedule

Easy and comprehensive

Have used Turbo Tax for many years and I feel confident that I am reporting accurately and completely and that I receive the maximum deductions. Also like using it to estimate next year's taxes or putting in different amounts to see what the net result is so we can plan our spending and charitable contributions.
What's great about it: Step by step guidance to ensure nothing is missed.

Best tax deal anywhere

I've been using Turbo-Tax since it was introduced. Used to work at a CPA firm long, long time ago. This product has probably put them out of business. This is so easy. You still have to keep good records, but this will just walk you through what you need to do.
What's great about it: Ease of use. Love the prompting. Accurate results.
What's not so great: Can't really think of any.
