2013 Tax Return

For some strange reasons e-filing got rejected due to my date of birth not matching with fed. record. My date of birth is correct, and it is accepted by federal with same date of birth using other program. Same thing had happened last year too. I think this is a problem with Turbotax program which needs to be corrected.
Does not respond to scrolling signal. "none of the above" should be "checked" by default. If the main program sequence is "diverted" to do something, after the something is done, it should return to where it was diverted, NOT to the begining of the topic! Viewing and printing have now become "obscure" commands.
Overall, very good program that i have used for 6(+) years both for business and personal taxes.
This was first year that i had problems filing electronically which may be function of time of year and having to update program 3 times in one sitting. Wasn't until i restarted program 3 times and restarted computer that it would finally transmit.
I have trained in tax preparation about 15 years ago and have used and recommend TURBOTAX to family and friends. This is a problematic year with the ACA and so many changes in codes, so i take the glitch into consideration of these factors. i will buy again next year.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
I have used the Home & Business version of TurboTax since its very first version (1980's?), for the past 5 or 6 years on a Mac. The program has improved continuously, though it does not seem to be as nice on the Mac as on a PC - but better than Quicken ever was! However, this year, the navigation outside of the interview was just too difficult, and for some forms, almost useless. One used to be able to navigate to a question in the interview to check or change one's answer(s). Now, in many instances, when you get to the question, the program appears to have forgotten your answer, and it makes you feel like you have to navigate through the whole form to ensure that it is correct. Some of the State forms are particularly bad at this. For one of my states, I could not find a way to go to an item within the interview and be sure that everything before or after that item was correct - I felt compelled to track through every question of the State interview to be sure it was all correct. It should not have to be that difficult!
Audit Defense Payment did not work in Turbo Tax - I needed to talk to 3 people at Turbo Tax and 4 people with external vendor in order to purchase product.
Some questions unclear...for instance, answering a question like, "When did you become a resident" should be "During 2013, when were you a resident?" I answered the first question "during 1999" which triggered many credits for a state return dating back to 1999.
Overall had a great experience using Turbo Tax. Easy to use covered all topics and having used it for a number of years it does a good job of making sure I have not missed anything.
