Wow that was easy

Overall, I think its Really good, and easy. I don't know to much about how this stuff works but with the steps, it made it easy, and a very good amount refund then last year. I would recommend this software to anyone like me that don't know how tax work. Thanks You
What's great about it: My first time by myself, it was kinda easy
What's not so great: when it came to box#20 locality name, it ask for something when the w2 form shows nothing, that was kinda confusing

Update problems!

A very disappointing experience enough to make me question if I will ever do it again. No problems the years before but this year the software update would not work and had to go through long hours of trying to fix, ask Turbo Tax question site and had to call, wait 40 minutes for call back then another 40 mins. on phone. Finally worked but no excuse for a product of this size.
What's not so great: Cost hours and hours of wasted time!

Some trouble Spots with 2013 Turbo Tax

The self employed retirement calculation was only able to handle one account vs two when maximum contribution was chosen! Also, there was a spot with the Ohio state tax where an error in entry would not clear, had to go to Forms view and manually change it! Very frustrating!
What's great about it: As with previous years just plug in information to easy stated questions and the math is done for you!
What's not so great: Self employed retirement calculation stated 401(K) and Keogh profit sharing but only calculated for one account, not @!
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Great and VERY helpful

I ran into a few areas that were unclear or confusing, but when I called the Help Center, both Lisa and Brian were EXTREMELY helpful to literally walk me through each portion of the problem area. I was such a relief!

Always Works Great

I have been using TurboTax for several years and it is always helpful. It keeps track of previous years - which helps to not forget something important. It has plenty of help tips which give quick/concise answers.
What's great about it: Keeps track of previous years and makes the current year simple.
What's not so great: None

Finally slogged thru it

There aren't enough choices in some of the drop-down menus. For instance, I could have claimed my first cousin, who lived with me & whom I provided full support for the entire year, as a dependent/relative. But "cousin" was not given as an option in the relative relationship list. And Turbo Tax phone support was not able to answer all of my questions. They offered to refer me to a PAID tax consultant
What's great about it: TTax is much easier to use than other tax prep software
What's not so great: Filing 1 state return should be FREE with paid software!
