Easy Tax Prep & File

I have used Turbo TAX for years. This year was the best. Even though I have a small business and some K1s to add to the return, preparation was easy, efficient and e-filing was fast and accurate. I will always use Turbo Tax.

I have been using TurboTax for many years and I love it. I will continue to use this software for my tax return.

Although most everything was clearly written, some windows were a bit confusing and I though some extra help could be provided such as definitions for terms that the average user may not understand.

Whenever I realized I left out a deduction such as another charitable contribution, navigating back to the screen where that item is entered is difficult. Also, when navigating forward to go back to where I was, I had to repeat too many steps to get there.
Many of the NY refundable credit claim forms, such as IT-241, are not electronic, so they prevent the NY return from being filed electronically if the taxpayer wants the refund. IT-241 should be electronic since NY requires all fuel oil to contain bio-fuel. All taxpayers who heat with oil in NY are elegible for that credit, so they shouldn't be prevented from e-filing if they want to claim it.
