Turbo Tax Home & Business Edition is very easy to use with the "Easy Step" guide. I also liked the availability of information along the way if an explanation or further analysis was required.

Easy Filing

I have been using TurboTax for over ten years and haven't been disappointed yet. The transfer of information from your previous year's return is very simple and efficient. The downloads of W-2 info. and other income items is very easy and simple to do.
I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to save money and get the highest refund possible.

Easy system

I have used Turbo Tax for the last 8 years and I am very pleased with the easy of use and the fact that at the end of the data, Turbo Tax checks for errors and gives you the possibility of an audit.

I have been using this program since it was MacInTax. It was better then. I will be filing my return in the next week, but there will continue to be software updates for several more months. You should have EVERYTHING up to date by March 1 at the latest.
What's great about it: Remembers last year's carryovers
What's not so great: Cumbersome & never up to date

Helped me through some difficult tax situations.

I spent quite a few hours trying to figure all the ins and outs of my tax situation this year which included buying and selling a house, an inheritance, restructuring my IRAs and 401Ks and paying extra taxes on the Minimum Required Distributions for the first time (I turned 70 1/2 this year). We also have a small home business.and a lot of charitable contributions. A particular vexing and unexpected tax situation when I agreed to rent out my tlime-share condo vacation week on my own and the Condo management sent me a 1099-misc. form saying they reported a taxable gain to the IRS. I was totally unprepared for that., but Turbo Tax helped me find some deductions to eliminate the taxes due on that transaction. I am convinced I would have had to read through dozens of pages of tax manuals to figure out how to handle that. It automatically filled out several pages of extra forms which I needed and did not know anything about. While I could have hired a tax consultant, I am sure that would have cost me several hundred dollars (given all the extra forms I had to fill out) to account for a transaction that actually lost me money.
I am impressed with the thoroughness of the program. My only criticism is that I made several small mistakes on my first attempt, and had some problem trying to get the program to make the necessary corrections appear correctly on the final documents.

What's great about it: TurboTax got me through some rather complicated tax situations. Questions were appropriate and thorough.
What's not so great: Some trouble finding where to correct several errors in my entries.

The Life Saver

Take a look at the printed out forms. Honestly ask yourself if you could fill out all of those forms in using the IRS instructions alone. I've got something like 19 forms and attachments for the return. Hey, I enjoy a good puzzle as much as the next guy; however, when doing taxes I don't feel like reliving story problems from 10th grade algebra.
Turbo Tax is downright magical in taking answers to the questions I give it and translating it into all those figures that appear on the final forms that are sent off to the IRS. I can't imagine filing taxes without Turbo Tax by my side.
What's great about it: Love the Easy Guide. It's the only way to go.
What's not so great: I wish the It's Deductible was part of the Program Disc Still!!!

I have use turbo tax for many years. I find it works very good. it makes filing easy.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
