State Tax Section for GA

GA Form 500 Estimated Tax for 2014: not too much guidance on this section. I still do not understand why we had to pay nearly $1700.00 on Georgia Form 500. I just rounded line 25. If more of the "Explain This" was included, this would have helped me to better understand. If you are a Tax Lawyer or CPA then at that level, its understandable. For a everyday person like myself, walk me through the process so I will know why I'm doing what I'm doing.

Turbo Tax is terrific!

I am so happy with Turbo Tax. I used to try and do my taxes with no help. It was so hard. I did not understand the terminology the IRS used. With Turbo Tax, the questions were in plain English that I could Understand. I entered all of my information without my head exploding. Yay!!

Simplified my life

Does a good job of supporting all tax topics and placing Info on proper forms and keeps the process organized and flowing.
Fast, responsive flowing from form to form.
However that standard is not maintained in handling Oil and Gas Royalties. the first issue is selecting the appropriate TurboTax version - Do I need Premier? Do I really need Home and Business? Would Deluxe do it? In the fluff of the selections matrix there is no mention of Oil and Gas Royalties, so I bought Home and Business and it supported filing 1 (One) Schedule E form as a business (the only business activity I have). I would think it could be easier and simpler.

We had to pay this year for the first time in decades but that wasn't the fault of TurboTax. In fact, I know that TurboTax helped me reduce our tax liability by the maximum amount.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Turbo Tax should make an effort to post answers (from tax professionals)to some of the questions that have no comments from the Community.There should also be more set up instructions for first time Turbo Tax Software users.

The individuals that hepled us and gave the advice was good.
When trying to file it was a little confusing to go to the menu and I didn't know that I had to go out of what I was doing.
I was a little afraid that I would loss everything.
It was great to give the information and then you transported it to the correct form. Thanks. Yes I will use program again next year. This is my second year of using Turbo Tas before i did it paper and pencil.
