Wanted to see the breakdown on the side of why return or credit would go up or down, not just the lump sum. Ex: you are at a payment of $100 and then it goes down $50.00 once you fill out a deduction section. Although i entered 200 worth of deductions, the overall payment (that is the top center) goes down 50. I would like to see how that calculation is made.

Errors in calculations

Last year I used TurborTax Home/Business addition and spent many hours troubleshooting an error on Form 8829 line 8. Turbo tax was pulling in the wrong number and it turned out to be a glitch but was eventually resolved after hours of back and forth with Help personnel. The correct number was used when filing last year but this year the incorrect data was pulled in and skewed all the numbers. The incorrect data had led to a calc that created an incorrect Carryover amount which showed up on the 2013 numbers and threw everything off. Because it was unclear where the numbers were coming from (they were not data entered by me), it took time to resolve. Because of these issues, TurboTax has lost credibility with me and I don't feel confident about the numbers it produces.

Complex Taxes Made Easy!

The upload from prior years makes it so much easier to file each year. Some people hate doing this, but it helps me review the year, and the step-by-step interviewing helps me review everything - just in case I have missed something. I could not be more pleased.

In the past I could see detail reasons for entry's. not so much this year. some of the questions around selling and buying a car for business were worded in a strange way and the system kept asking about my farm income, but i never indicated i had any.
