MULTIPLE COUNTRY PROVISIONS FOR SCHEDULE K-1 DATA IS VERY COMPLEX AND SHOULD BE STREAMLINED SO AS TO NOT REQUIRE MULTIPLE ENTRIES OF THE SAME INFORMATION. ALSO THE CURRENT PROCEDURE IS NOT HIGHLIGHTED IN THE HELP FUNCTIONS. ESTIMATED TAX CALCULATIONS FOR SAME AS LAST YEAR ARE BURIED IN THE PROCESS. SOME OF THE QUESTIONS IN THE STEP-BY-STEP REVERT TO A DEFAULT EVERYTIME ONE REVIEWS THE INPUT WHICH OVERRIDES PREVIOUS INPUTS. THIS MAKES REVIEW OF DATA TIME CONSUMING BY HAVING TO RE-INPUT PREVIOUS ENTRIES.
Excellent Tool - Been using it for years. If you take your stuff to someone else - ask yourself why. It's rocket science. But then I don't like giving my money to anybody for something I can easily do myself.
I am self-employed and since I do all my own paperwork - I have decided to do my own taxes - hope I am making a good decision about this - but I do think turbo tax walks you through everything
The only problem - I think is the Car Depreciation - I keep forgetting the three letters AUW - or something like that - sorry - should remember but I guess I am tired after going through all my records and doing these taxes
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
I love the double check for accuracy and missed responses. I love the ability to look at the actual tax form while filling in my answers. Love the navigation and categorizing making it not so overwhelming for business owners. At least in my case. Love the filing, printing, and signing process. Turbo Tax is very user friendly. I love the auto field input from prior year, very efficient. Not comfortable with the Section 465(d) Carryover. I couldn't delete it. Not sure if I was supposed to. I do like and purchased, this year, the Audit Protection as I am high risk for an audit. I have used Turbo Tax for over six years and I look forward to our future together.
