Turbo Tax Rocks

I've been using Turbo Tax for over 12 years and it just gets easier to use.
What's great about it: Easy to follow directions and my errors were easy to correct

I've used Turbo Tax for many years and have been extremely satisfied with each year's product. 2013 is no exception.

I have been using this program for 21 years now and it is so so simple to use even with the business that I have... it REALLY does every thing!!! I WILL CONTINUE TELLING EVERYONE ABOUT THIS PRODUCT!!!

This is my third year of using turbo tax instead of an accountant. Turbo Tax has saved me a lot of money and has given me insight on how taxes work.
What's great about it: That it is easy to do
What's not so great: being charged to file state tax
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Love turbo tax - very helpful tool to get our taxes filed quickly and easily.

What's not so great: don't like adding charity addresses in a separate step

Second Time Through

When I got to the filing section, I couldn't file due to an update that hadn't been updated in the beginning. As I updated, I had to save the doc. Well... it dumped all of my information. ALL SIX HOURS OF PREPARATION!!!!!! I wasn't too happy to say the least.
What's great about it: I like having some say in where my money is going.
What's not so great: I had to do it twice

First time business!

All in all this is the only program we use each year. This year we had started our own business and I did our taxes. The whole thing was very easy even though it took 3 hours to do.
What's great about it: It walked me through every step of the business taxes.
What's not so great: I woul'd have liked an easier step to add in materials for the business.

Home&Business Works, but not for State

As a sole proprietor, I feel confident with what was asked and included in the Federal forms to give me the most back in terms of deductions and credits/refunds.
For the state forms, it was very much lacking in that prompts basically asked you to figure things out and fill it in on your own, which required you to go into the actual forms of Federal to figure out what was calculated and included (or not). It's almost more frustrating this way to have an interface asking you vague things instead of looking at the actual form and instructions to see what should be placed.
I've been using TurboTax Home & Business for years, which means it's good enough to get the job done and save you $, but for years it has been lacking in the State dept. It'd be best if they could hire some people to put in as much dedication to this aspect as the Federal.
What's great about it: Highly detailed when it comes to deductions
What's not so great: (NY) State tax forms do not "speak" enough to federal forms
