Foreign residents still need a better product

As a long-term user of Turbotax, and as an overseas filer, there is still work to be done to make it easier for overseas filers to succeed.
For example, it seems impossible to enter overseas wages and to enter foreign earned income from a business without getting the desktop version and entering overriding the way Turbotax wants to compute the 2555 and 1116 forms.
You have gotten better in recent years, but more is needed to have a first rate product for overseas filers.

Got Great Refund

All worked well. One thing that happened that when we printed the CA State Tax forms the account number did NOT get reproduced onto the Sate Tax forms even though we had given this information for the federal return. The CA state tax form did not prompt us to enter the account numbers for the refund money.

Outstanding and Stress-Relieving

Hi. I procrastinate. I freak out. I overthink. I do everything short of going fetal and peeing myself when I think of filing taxes. OK, I used to. I've used TurboTax for years, probably close to a decade now. The application is easy to follow and explains what's going on without having to consult a technical dictionary. Everything makes sense, and the virtual hand-holding really helps ease my stress. Honestly, I wish more things were done the way TurboTax gets it done: life would be MUCH simpler. As it stands, TurboTax makes THIS part of life simpler, and that's all you can ask of them... except for chocolate at the end.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Generally very pleased

In general, I am very pleased with Turbo Tax. It is well organized, straightforward, and simple. In general the explanations of different entries are clear and helpful.
I recommend you revise the K-1 form to mirror the actual form. I had to create two K-1 forms for a single company to include all of the subcategories included on the single K-1 form that I received from the company.

I file the federal and state, have itemized deductions, and find this product easy to use. I have climbed the learning curve, and find that I am comfortable with the features I need and use.

Awesome Farm Tax Help

If you have a farm, home and business makes it easy to do your own taxes. It asks all the right questions about expenses and income just like a more expensive tax preparation service would. I highly recommend this product we have been using it now for 5 years and I won't go back.
