Appreciate the organized method of entering data

Overall experience continues to be a good one. Questions and cons are only minor and are probably just my own misinterpretation of the questions asked. Thanks for a fine and convenient way of filing this return.

Loved it!

I really hate the IRS, but at least turbo-tax takes the sting out of the experience! Very nice and user-friendly format. I've been using turbotax since 2007, so it's really nice not having to enter the same old information year after year. It remembers everything! Now if we can just control the spending that congress does with our tax dollars, then we would be much better off.

Pretty Comprehensive Program

1. This is my second year using Turbo. I used the competition before for several years and they let me down with their unwillingness to represent me or advised me on a marital status issue.
2. I'd like more of a live chat option, that would help me get instant answers to my questions, instead of me having to look and do a lot of research elsewhere.

Best Experience in a long time!

I had used another tax product for years, but decided to change when this product handled tax-exempt interest incorrectly. Also, trying to navigate through MLP related transactions was a nightmare. TurboTax made the entire process so much easier and saved me DAYS necessary to complete my return. I am a very happy customer and will use TurboTax in the future.

Love Turbo Tax until this year

I have used Turbo Tax since 2007 and have always been happy with the program. However, this year, my son died, and I am having the worst time doing his taxes. It was bad enough losing him at age 20, but the efile keeps kicking back due to the PIN. IRS Says I don't need one, TT says I do. I have given up and will mail them in. I figure that is probably the real reason they are kicking back is because he is deceased but why not just not allow me to efile instead of all this PIN nonsense?

Sustain Superior Performance

I've used TT for years, now. The program is quick, clear, and concise. If you have everything prepared (bank statements, bills, receipts, etc.), you can in and out with TurboTax quickly and have it perform at the "paid professional" level and better.
The goods: clear flow and step by step instruction works well, in addition to having the tips and clues hyperlinked right next to the questions.
The bads: This is the second year that items entered in the program got caught as "errors" on worksheets (vehicle expenses). Not a biggie, just repetitive. Also, and I'm not sure how to logic this out better than putting it past beta testers, but some of the questions might be phrased differently. I caught the meaning of some of the questions to help me answer a section, but, I had to dig a little into the help to get clarity.
Overall: a good showing, once again, from the guys and gals who built a solid product.

It's Great But

I had to search for where to enter the sale of my second home. I was not able to import anything from the financial institutions I have.
Each year, I wonder if I have really answered everything correctly. Some stuff I just do not understand.
I really like your deduction program that identifies the value of my donations.
