2013 Turbo Tax Review

I LOVE Turbo Tax. I have use this product for 15 years and I get a better return and experience than I have ever gotten with anyone else. That includes a chain store or a private agency.
What's great about it: Easy to use

I think Turbo Tax is an excellent product and I enjoy working with it.
What's great about it: Guided interview
What's not so great: Sometimes I wasn't sure where imported numbers came from (e.g. with 1099-DIV)

Love TurboTax

I like knowing taxes are done right without having to read IRS tax documents and without having to check calculations. Excellent product.
What's great about it: Best aspect of the software is that it is so interactive - all you do is answer questions, fill in your information.
What's not so great: I pretty much like all of it.

Twice when i came back to use Turbo Tax data that i had previously entered had been deleted. Note: Using a Mac.

Almost Easy Return

Overall I still like TurboTax. I've been using it for many, many years. My one complaint is that it seems like the explanations and help is more vague than it used to be, making some stuff harder to figure out where it should go.
What's great about it: was able to go through most parts quickly and easily
What's not so great: some areas of the business section need to be more understandable

I have been using Turbo Tax for many years and am impressed on how much easier it gets each year. Everything is explained in simple terms and filing electronically is easy. Thanks Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Detailed Explanations with one click. Walks you through each step with ease. No paper copies to mail.
What's not so great: No cons - seems to improve every year making it easier to use and understand.

As this is the 11th year using TT, I have gotten used to the foibles. You need to maintain a record from past years re: business auto expense to make trade in calc prompts meaningful. Your helps did not work.
What's great about it: make it easier
What's not so great: business expense - auto trade in very confusing
