TurboTax

TurboTax is generally easy to use except I did have some difficulty finding entries for extimated tax paid & state tax credits. Without proper prompts these items may be missed.
What's great about it: Found it easy to prepare & file.
What's not so great: Very difficult to file an amended return last year.

Good Tool for Filing Taxes

This will be about the eighth year I've used TurboTax. It carried me through the subtleties of my wite's home business. It helped with the college financial experience. If you keep good records, you should have no trouble using it.
What's great about it: Takes you through step by step
What's not so great: Asks some questions that were challenging for a layman to answer

Can't Print out Return

I have been a customer of Turbo Tax for many years. I have been trying to print out a paper copy of my return but I can't.
Instructions as to how to address this problem are not sufficient. What good is this program if you can't print out a return ?

I love TurboTax. I've use it for over 10 years and it keeps getting better, year after year. It's now easier than ever.
What's great about it: Lots of information entered in the easiest and accurate way.
What's not so great: Dealing with any computer program.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

SOFTWARE WOULD BE BETTER IF ONE COULD NAVIGATE BETTER FROM 1040 TO APPROPRIATE SCHEDULES WITHOUT HAVING TO BE DEPENDENT UPON INTERVIEW PROCESS

I've been a Turbo Tax Customer for many years and I enjoy the features where is steps you through your tax return. Where I have confusion is on my rental properties and mortgage tax deductions.
What's great about it: Step By Step Through the Taxes
What's not so great: Sometimes the language is confusing.
