Even for a novice tax preparer like myself, Turbo Tax was great. I had all of the required information, which was easily entered in the appropriate places by the questions posed.

STILL USING TT SINCE IT FIRST CAME ON THE MARKET

DO NOT FEATURE ON YOUR WEBSITE. THIS IS FOR YOUR EYES ONLY AND I WAS TOO LAZY TO SWITCH TO LOWERCASE SO I AM NOT YELLING. I HAVE USED TURBO TAX SINCE 1994 AND I REFUSE TO USE ANYTHING ELSE. I GET SOMEWHAT FRUSTRATED WITH THE BUGS IN THE APPLICATION EVERY SAY (4-5)YEARS BUT IT IS STILL BETTER THAN ANYTHING ELSE ON THE MARKET. I WOULD LIKE TO BE ABLE TO PRINT AND OR SAVE THE PRIOR YEAR VS THIS YEAR COMPARISON SCREENS, DEDUCTIONS, BOTTOM LINES AND OR OTHER REVIEW DATA AS I MOVE THROUGH THE PROCESS. IT WOULD ADD VALUE TO MY EFFORT AS MANUALLY COPYING THE DATA SLOWS DOWN MY MOBILITY. I WOULD ALSO LIKE THE ABILITY TO GO BACK TO A SPECIFIC POINT IN THE STEPS AND MAKE CHANGES WITHOUT HAVING TO REDO THE STEPS AND RE-ANSWER THE QUESTIONS ALL OVER AGAIN.. EVEN WITHOUT THIS FUNCTIONALITY I WOULD NOT CHANGE TO ANOTHER PRODUCT THOUGH HAVING THIS FEATURE WOULD ADD VALUE TO THE APPLICATION. ALSO WHY CAN'T I JUST UPGRADE TO THE NEXT VERSION EA YEAR OR BUY A PRODUCT KEY WITHOUT REINSTALLING A NEW VERSION OF THE PRODUCT EVERY YEAR. IS IT THAT WE HAVE NOT FOUND OUT HOW TO BE BACKWARDS COMPATIBLE WITH PRIOR YEARS IF WE HAVE TO GO BACK AND AMEND OR CHANGE SOMETHING OR IT INCREASES PROFIT FOR INTUIT TO SELL THE ENTIRE APP EACH YEAR..JUST CURIOUS AND THINKING OUT LOUD..MAYBE YOU'LL SOLVE THIS FOR THOSE LOYAL PATRONS THAT HAVE BEEN USING THIS PRODUCT RELIGIOUSLY ONE DAY AS WELL.

Turbo Review - NOL Issue

Overall Turbo Tax was excellent and relatively easy to use but I needed more help with Net Operating Loss calculation. I had no idea of which lines to draw from, the schedule's work sheet would have helped a lot even if Turbo chose to NOT include it within the taxes...

A Little More Heartburn This Year

TurboTax is still, in my opinion the best product out there. I've been using it for years. It's always a solid and thorough product, and makes filing easy.
However this year, for the first time in a long time, there were bugs with the installation and updates. I had to try to load my state return several times. Also, when I went to e-file it kept wanting an update that I theoretically already downloaded three times. Everything eventually went through after several attempts, but because I'm filing from a remote place it would've made it very difficult if I had to suddenly mail my returns in.
That said, TurboTax is still highly recommended!

2nd year with Turbotax

I understand better what I need and what I am able to deduct after using this product - much more so than my prior 11 years working with an accountant.
The interface is very clear and easy to navigate. It imported my quickbooks information, but also had me enter in data that I may have neglected to include or misidentified. This insures my quickbooks mistakes do not infect my tax return.

Done in Record Time

I was able to get all my questions answered, it helped me get all my documents together, and I was finished with taxes in record time. I could even look at the appropriate form if I needed to. I have never had taxes so easy and fast.
