I have been a user of the TurboTax Home and Business version for about 10 years. It is fantastic to use, and I even do my son/s and daughters return and efile all of them for no change. I highly recommend this software as I have used others and will never do so again!
Program is much improved. There were still some glitches on the checks where you asked for a number in a block but didn't provide a way to enter the number, and didn't provide an explanation of what number was that you were asking for.
I continue to like Turbo Tax, as it's generally easy to use for a non-business/tax user like myself. It was difficult to understand what exactly the software wanted me to enter under the recent addition of an old vehicle (for business use) of a personal car though. I have used Turbo Tax successfully for many years now and will continue to do so in the future.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments
Pay more attention to the contrast between characters in the program that must be read and the background or surrounding colors. Some of them are difficult to read, even easy to miss.
TurboTax usually works fine, occasionally certain situations are a bit convoluted in the interview - usually in Schedule C or royalty items or multi-state info. The wording can be aggravating and obtuse at times.
The price for extra state programs and filing fees gets a bit ridiculous - adding up to more than the original TurboTax program.
