Have the last ck for updates prior to Transmit. Because updates kick you out, then you have to go through banking screens again. Yes, it kept most info - but a bit of concern - will it hit my bank acct up twice because I had to agree all over again.
Also, I answered q. about 1099R retirement being inherited. When NYS return prtd, it said no inherited. I went back to the input screens and a couple things I ck'd the first time through, were no longer checked. Eaten by computer heaven.

I have used Turbotax since 2002 and I have had great results on a whole. I did get surprised with a tax bill in 2008 but it worked out to be incorrect--the IRS made a mistake!
I feel confident when I send in my taxes that they are done correctly- First time , every time!

minn state tax

the form filing was OK. My biggest complaint is that I finished and transmitted my federal tax return and then Turbo Tax just wanted me to quit. It didn't tell me I needed to go back for my State, nor did it make it easy for me to find where to go to file my state tax. I ended up going back to the minn. return and going through it again, then going to e-file and continuing. There should be an automatic message, when the federal is done like "do you want to e-file or print your state taxes now?" I didn't find any such message to let me know .
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

pretty easy

first time without an accountant and overall I think it went very well. There were glitches in the forms but by early april, these were fixed. I often wanted to toggle back to forms and then get right back to working form and did not find this easy. Maybe there is a way and I just didn't find it.
Have just finished and filed federal but can't tell if I did state since I said I wanted to mail that one. Would like to have them file federal and state separately. However, maybe this will still happen as I continue through the form.

I have a Consulting Business and use TurboTax Home & Business. TTax made the process very easy and painless. Using the interview process reminds me of information I need to gather and enter into the program. Will continue to use and recommend the product. In addition the e-file process is great.

I waited for the last minute to file my taxes and was unable to find an accountant that was available.
I decided to buy the home and business program and give it a shot.
It was pretty easy to follow and the places I was stuck on, I got help from the phone center.
Definitely recommend this program!!!
