Have used this for years and wouldn't use anything else. As good as any paid tax preparer and a lot less money. Great program.

Mostly wonderful....

While Turbotax is actually quite wonderful, and has enabled me to do my own taxes for several years now, the explanatory notes are at times too vague and would be better if terms were more clearly and completely defined.

Pretty Good

I have complained about this for years. I just want to be able to see the questions and read my responses. Is that asking too much?
What's great about it: Have been using for many years and it's easy to use
What's not so great: Typeface on screen is TINY. At 63 it hard to read.

Overall a good refund process as usual.

Complicated Taxes Uncomplicated

The key to faster filing is to keep good records and have them well-organized order when filing.
What's great about it: Step-by-step instructions, follow-up and verification questions all make a complixated return much easier to negotiate.
What's not so great: It still takes about eight hours to file a return.

TURBO TAXES ARE AWESOME

I have used Turbo Tax Home and Business w/It's Deductible for several years. No complaints so far.
We get regular updates and if you are signed up for the next year program you can get a head start./
I also like the idea of transferring data from year to year..
It's a great program so keep up the good work.

Also, you can pay for Audit Defense. Never file without it..Never know if you will need it...
What's great about it: TELLS IT LIKE IT IS - THEY WALK YOU THROUGH IT
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

This is an intuative and easy to use program.
What's great about it: easy to follow steps and easy filing
What's not so great: Had to go to outside help. No response from help programs

I have spent several days trying to get my taxes filed, only to encounter one roadblock after another. Currently I can't file because I can't get a federal pin no. I have typed everything in they asked for several times and called the federal help line, I took the information from the 2012 tax filing.
I will be looking for an alternative to Turbo tax next year.
What's not so great: Did not respond to my e-mail(s).
