I was able to save money by filing my own taxes instead of paying someone else to do it

Seems like it was more difficult this year over previous years. Some of that is changes by IRS. Some is that I am another year older. Had estimate payments the previous year and was not automatically prompted about it this year, and about missed it. Seems like should have popped up automatically with suggested same amount (at the beginning( since was part of prior year file. It was listed on one page but I missed it first time thru. Passwords and pins are necessary, but seems it could be simplified from year to year.
