I have used Turbo Tax for many years, and it keeps improving. I find it easy to follow, and feel very comfortable doing my personal and business taxes on it.
What's great about it: It walks me through everything

Fast and Furious!

I love Turbo Tax. It makes tax time much less painful for filling out all the forms needed.
What's great about it: Really easy and fast! Gets the job done.
What's not so great: Paperwork...lol
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

multiple 1096/1099

I needed to prepare 1096/1099 for 30 different companies. Each time I needed to enter the same contact info for myself as well as info for our accountants that receive 1099's from each of the different companies. It seemed like the program should "recall" the information (fein, address, telephone, etc) once the name of a company is entered. it seemed like an unnecessary burden to type the same info 30 different times.
What's not so great: needs to recall names and info

Overall I would recommend highly using Turbo Tax. I have been using it for several years and would not switch.
What's great about it: ease of doing my taxes
What's not so great: some questions came up that I didn't know how to answer

Disappointed

I've been using TurboTax for almost a decade. Never had it fail me in the past. We always get credits instead of dues. This year's software does not seem complete as of mid January. For example, I wasn't able to see the comparison of 2012 and 2013's tax return summary until today. This is also the first time that tax is due (our job hasn't changed in 5 years.) Though I just submitted the federal return, I'm not confident if the software has done an adequate job. I think I'll wait later to do my state return.
What's great about it: Easy to Use

So much easier than I anticipated!

I was worried about trying to do my taxes alone, but TurboTax made it EXTREMELY easy. I absolutely loved that each section had an "Explain" button that explained that topic in basic terms that I could actually understand. I also really liked the step-by-step process, which made it seem very organized. The only negative that I ran into was that it was hard to find things sometimes. For example, I saved my work, but then went back later to enter my mileage, and it took awhile for me to figure out where the mileage was. Other than that, though, this program was definitely worth the money and I would recommend it to everyone!
What's great about it: It makes it easy to understand for someone who knows NOTHING about taxes!
What's not so great: Some pages were a bit cluttered, making it hard to navigate

Taxes Returns Made Fast and Simple

I have been a TurboTax user for many years and will continue to use TurboTax in the future. Before I began using TurboTax I used to manually do my taxes. What a joy to no longer have to read and understand the 1040 instruction manual and all the gruesome details each year in a constantly changing tax code. TurboTax walks me through my Federal and State returns with easy and understandable instructions. It is just a joy to make updates and corrections and not have to go back and manually redo all the paper forms. I am a very happy user.
What's great about it: Simple to import my investments. Easy to use charitable contributions. Step by step easy to follow instructions.
What's not so great: I could not use my nick name because it was taken by another reviewer

No Stress - Turbo Tax, It's Deductible & Quicken

For the past tow years, I have been using Quicken to manage my books and business, It's Deductible to track my charitable contributions and TurboTax Home and Business to prepare my taxes.
They work together seamlessly and the step by step process takes the stress out of tax filing.
What's great about it: Love how each of their solutions works together seemlessly
