Easy as pie

I have confidence that my return will be accurate with using Turbo Tax. Using Turbo Tax year after year helps prefill my return saving me the hassle and time. I am a fan of Turbo Tax and have been for years. Keep the good work up!
What's great about it: Layed out very logically with answers to questions.
What's not so great: Filling out tax forms is time consuming but Turbo Tax makes it easier.

I have used Turbo Tax for nearly 10+ years. They are the best easiest and modern software on the planet. Could probably teach Congress a thing or two about software and how it should work with heavy traffic!

I spend less time to file each year I use the program. I also love the audit bar.....in the green baby!

What's not so great: Hard to get my electronic pin...not turbo taxes' fault

Easier Every Year

Having the ability to condense the nightmare that is our Tax code into an easy to use easily understood step by step process is the genius of Turbo Tax.
The icing on the cake is the ability to download all important tax information from financial institutions.

What's great about it: Try doing your taxes by hand and you see just how great Turbo Tax is.
What's not so great: No excuses for not getting my taxes done.

It's a good program but my husband is an accountant so we may have an advantage. I probably would not have known how to answer all the questions.
What's great about it: Liked the explanations if you weren't sure
What's not so great: Having to answer the questions when you want to skip a section

2013 tax experience

Overall very happy with turbo tax. however, I couldn't correct an input on Sch C, it really should have been on Sch F. Also didn't understand why I documented a vehicle sale in 2012, and was asked about useage of vehicle in 2013.
What's great about it: Turbo tax is easy to use and understand and provides help during the input sessions
What's not so great: input on schedule C but wanted it on schedule F but couldn't fix it

Right-On Assistance!

I love the system. Been using it for years. The text most often is very clear. When I am confused and taking a break doesn't do it, the technical staff is patient, and if they don't know the answers they refer me to someone who does within minutes. Plus I feel confident that my return was done well with no glitches or inaccuracies because they check and double check it.
I like that they are not expensive as I am a senior on a limited income. They don't charge for technical assistance.

What's great about it: Within minutes I got the help I needed with people who empathized with my frustration, could calm me and clarified .
What's not so great: For some it might not be technical lingo, but for me it was.
