Getting Better All The Time

Great interface and very user friendly. I would add option to select another state before program defaults to home state. Outstanding and I will keep coming back!
What's great about it: Smooth transitions through all areas of income and deductions.
What's not so great: Did not like that you were defaulted to file your state tax. I worked in another state and my state does no collect tax

Quickly Done!

Was great for my Mother's return. Now she can rest easy tonight, knowing that her taxes are filed.
What's great about it: Loaded the brokerage account information and put it all in the right places.
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Finally after 3 attempts!

I have done my taxes for years. I purchased Turbo Tax to get acquainted w/doing my business taxes: to learn which categories deductions are entered into for my business. My first two attempts I switched from one method to the next. Apparently I missed the instructions not to jump from forms to step by step. So I think that is why 1st and 2nd attempt return locked items up and wouldn't let me take Education credit. Final #3 attempt it would allow me to take the credit. And no mistakes were found in return. At Final Print, however, I did not want to input bank info (wanted to do it by hand and not save it on forms). So at final print it said there was something wrong. I believe that was the problem didn't know how to override it.
Also, my business software already has calculations done for me so when I plugged in numbers Turbo Tax calculated again giving me even less deductions of course. Had to go back to my bus software and remove calculations to get correct numbers for Turbo Tax.

What's great about it: Two methods Available to use: Step by Step and Forms
What's not so great: StepByStep wanted too much unnecessary info-Time consumming

Taxes could not be any simpler!

Wow. My taxes were done in less than a day. It is especially easy when you have last year's taxes on file. Highly recommended for repeat use. I'm actually looking forward to doing next year's taxes.
What's great about it: Quickly takes care of your taxes
What's not so great: Absolutely none; this is perfect

A Real Life Saver

I will never do taxes without Turbo Tax again! The whole process was smoother, less confusing, and less frustrating. I didn't have to grind through tax law-speak on forms with instructions that weren't instructive.
It found every deduction I knew about and then some. I don't have to keep up with the annual rule changes--Turbo Tax does that for me! Overall, the best time I've ever had doing taxes.
What's great about it: It walked me through everything, eliminating frustration, angst, and confusion. The Help function was actually helpful.
What's not so great: It loaded rather slowly, but that could be my computer's fault.

Another year processing and filing my taxes using the Turbo Tax product. Again, the process was as easy as possible while also being very thorough. I believe everything was checked. All the data and inputs organized and now filed.

What's great about it: Automates the State return once you complete Federal
What's not so great: Please help calculate the amount of income one needs to report from state tax refunds related to more than one year old

Turbo Tax - The Only Logical Solution

I have been using Turbo Tax for many years now. Our taxes have become progressively more complicated through the years as I have started several different business ventures. Turbo Tax has made it easy for me to continue doing my own taxes with its ease-of-use, understandable explanations, definitions and suggestions for where to find more in-depth information regarding any and every possible tax situation. I have recommended Turbo Tax, and will continue to recommend Turbo Tax, to anyone who is looking for an affordable alternative to other ways of having their taxes prepared.
What's great about it: The Turbo Tax programs are easy to work with and offer explanations and definitiions whenever needed.
What's not so great: I'd like a Contents section; each category & sub-category listed in order, all in the same document/page.

A number of years ago I had a complicated return...I changed jobs, sold a house, moved to a new state, bought a house, cashed in company stock options, bought and sold other stocks and had rental income/expenses. I was a Turbo Tax user, but that year I felt the need to use a professional tax advisor. Before paying the tax pro, I decided to put all my numbers in Turbo Tax to get an idea of where I stood. Turbo Tax handled all my info, I only had to make one call to ask which schedule to use for the stock options, and never needed to spend any money on the tax advisor. Thank you Turbo Tax for many great years!
