Turbo tax makes completing tax returns easy and eliminates all math errors.
What's great about it: Very Simple to complete tax returns
What's not so great: Extra state are a little expensive

1) Had difficulty adjusting Home Office deductions & others for a Business that was dis-continued 5 months into 2013.
2) Had no clear way to indicate a K-1 Form was from 2012 and recieved after filing 2012 Taxes (rec'd on 6/2/2013).

What's great about it: Error Checking & being able to go to most challenging Forms directly.

Outstanding!!! Always makes filing our taxes very easy. Especially now that we have a couple small businesses.

Problem with State Refund

I have a refund from the state that I wanted to apply to my quarterly estimated taxes. The program did not allow me to do that. Otherwise it was great.

Dissapointed with stock upload feature

Information duplicated info from 1099-B and very difficult to see "Page 1of 2" and "Next Page" because small button and on TOP of the screen when all of the buttons for your program are on the middle to bottom of the screen.
Added HOURS because page 2 had four trades and they were the trades that TurboTax duplicated.
What's great about it: Upload is very helpful
What's not so great: Didn't upload correct info & webpage needs help

Your phone support is great! Got a young woman who couldn't answer my question with my problem. She got me to a CPA - Rich who went through the entire situation with me, explained that my problem wasn't really a problem and how to correct it in turbotax! Spoke in regular English, not legalese, so I could understand and follow what he was saying. Put me completely at ease throughout the conversation. Fantastic help!!
What's great about it: keeps track year to year -saves time and effort
What's not so great: had a problem with entering a 1099MISC - program gave me grief
