My tax return

I have filed our taxes for a number of years now, which has saved us some money, but my husband spends the refund way too fast. We are empty nesters, and I am back in school completing my four year degree.
What's great about it: Helped me with my Federal and State taxes to get the most out of my return
What's not so great: State Income Taxes was not completed. Could not e-file
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Turbo Tax Home and Business 2013

I love Turbo Tax - have used it for last 8 years. This year, I was most disappointed by the fact that your software did not properly import my data from last year's TurboTax file. I had to rekey my Employer's name and address, my own info including Financial institutions and bank info. This is an obvious bug that should be corrected. I am a software engineer, so I know a bug when I see one in software. Other than that, the software worked great to get the deductions we were entitled to, and streamlined getting Federal and state taxes done and filed. Thanks!
What's great about it: Makes Federal and state taxes much easier to get done!
What's not so great: This was the first year the IMPORT from last year's TurboTax data file did not properly import my information!

Great experience and saved CPA preparation fees

I loved being able to tag items to come back too. I also like being able to key in certain words and the software takes you to that part of the software to enter. I had a PATR to enter and could not find where until I entered in the search and then it took me right to the spot I needed to enter the information.
What's great about it: I liked being able to enter flags to come back to
What's not so great: None really. I loved the software

Excellent Product!

I've been a loyal customer of Turbo Tax for 10 years now. It's the only product I want and feel secure about. It's hassle free and very reliable. Don't waste your time on anything else.
I love how they keep improving Turbo Tax year after year!
I'm proud of the fact I've filed my own returns since the age of 18! Using Turbo Tax gives me a sense of comfort and confidence in filing my returns. It really helps when filing small business, 1099 income, or investment income.
What's great about it: Very easy to follow, submit and file returns electronically!
What's not so great: Need improved math checks on multiple home based businesses % use of Home

I felt very confident and secure using TurboTax. I loved the fact that after I started and went on with inputting the numbers - I could close it - think about something else that I might include - and... return to it simply and easily in order to enter more information and/or do research. I am quite pleased that I was able to complete my entire return without anyone's help. The fact that I was able to download my Consolidated Investment Statement that consisted of several pages resulting in the correct information populated directly into the tax return was THE BEST. If not for this feature, I would have had to have my return prepared by an outside party.
What's great about it: I liked everything about this software. I have used it for many years and it has become continuously more user friendly
What's not so great: none

Turbo Time!

The better you keep records, the faster it is to do. All you have to do is enter information when asked. It guides you through just what you need to do. It will transfer this years tax information into next years taxes and helps to get the most money back for you.I love Turbo Tax!
What's great about it: Easy! Answer questions. It's laid out for you. Transfers last years tax information. Love it!
What's not so great: I seriously can't think of any cons.
