It is simpler than the business version but still confusing regarding your home business and your partnerships (LLC'S)

What's the problem here?

Worked as advertised until the final review. The 1099-misc wasn't linked to a form and the instructions would not work.
It said updates were required even after downloading and preparing to file. This repeated several more times!
I finally quite the program and did a restart - it finally did my e-file.
Overall, this is the worse version of TurboTax I have used (first time on the Mac); too bad the ending of the return became a royal pain.
What's great about it: Makes the job easy by importing from year to year
What's not so great: Final review items highlighted went into a loop

Overall it was an easy way to complete and file my taxes. There were some questions about credits for hiring someone that had been on unemployment for a while. When entering employment information it would be nice to have seen potential credits.
What's great about it: Easy step by step walkthrough
What's not so great: Not sure I got all of the credits as a small business owner
Pros: I bought or sold investments

I zeroed out the Employee Expenses in the worksheet, but it did not put zero in the from when I returned.
It did not give me the option of using the refund against my estimated tax payments. I had to enter that into Form 1040 myself.
Otherwise, excellent...
What's great about it: Used TT for over 20 years (I think) and it's better each time.
What's not so great: Two small glitches
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Best Tax Software!

I use Turbo Tax yearly. It is simply the BEST way to find the maximum refund for your taxes. I often find deductions I never knew existed!
What's great about it: Easy to use. Walks you through tax scenarioes that others leave out. Finds the maximum deductions with ease!
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I find the software easy to follow and have been using it for years. The EasyGuide is the best way to go, asking the right probing questions to ensure you get the most from your return.
What's great about it: Easy to use

TT junkie. As stressful as it is, TurboTax makes it "easy" even though returns get increasingly complex.
What's great about it: No significant problems
What's not so great: When continuing return, several times it took me back to the very beginning
