Good product to handle moderately complex tax situations, such as self-employment alongside salaried employment, plus rental property. Also handled tax returns for deceased father-in-law.

Filing the Return PROBLEMS

I decided to file these by mail. I had so much trouble e-filing that AFTER I PAID FOR THE SERVICE...I WENT AHEAD AND FILED THEM MYSELF BY MAIL.
YOU OWE ME A REFUND!!!
What's great about it: good arithmetic
What's not so great: Very Confusing at the end NEED REFUND

My Refund

S corporatoin was dissolved. That was not an option in the system. I wanted to show dissolved and no money, income, or capital gain.
What's great about it: Very, very easy to use. Keeps track of everything. Easy to come back and review
What's not so great: Getting rid of Schedule K1
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Tax People You Can Trust

I've been using TurboTax for many years and was never disappointed. It's the best friend I could ever want for preparing and accurately filing our ever-changing annual income tax.
What's great about it: Able to work at my own pace; Got clear answers to specific issues.
What's not so great: I can't think of any dislikes...... What's NOT to like???
