I love TurboTax!

Wonderful if filing a return is complicated like ours, and so easy when filing is straight forward like my son's. Thank you, TurboTax!.
What's great about it: Very accurate & complete.
What's not so great: Too much information, sometimes...but keeps me on track.

Even with encountering several new situations: sell of home, doing consulting, and having some other business expenses...Turbo Tax Home & Business made it easy to understand and keep the process streamlined. I've been using it for the past 10 years and am very happy!

Simple, Streamlined and Fast

I have used TT for the past 5 years and overall have been very happy with it. I would and do recommend this product to anyone looking for a way to do your own taxes from home -- even with more complex tax situations.
What's great about it: Help itemizing deductions and finding the maximum refund
What's not so great: Confusing forms sometimes -- it tells me to take one option and when I agree, it doesn't show up until filing

2014 tax prep

I wish this program would let me go back and see all the figures entered after completing each section. When I tried to see if I qualified for some deductions, I couldn't view it and didn't know if I got them, or not.
What's great about it: easy and accurate tax info and calculations
What's not so great: this program will not let you go back and review details after completing the sections

I would like to recommend that when using this program and it asks for a certain peace of information and it says they will address it later, a list of those items should be entered in a subprogram or routine that will allow it's user to call up at any time to be identified and verified if it has been addressed as indicated. Also, the program prior to addressing the item that was set aside should notify the User that it's in the process of being used. Tracking multiple items to be used at a later part in the program can be missed if not followed or announced.
What's great about it: The positive side of this software program is you don't have to hire a CPA to do your Tax Return.
What's not so great: The negative side of Turbox Tax is its rising cost.

If you don't have any business income or expenses, there is no link for repayments over $3,000.00. Perhaps adding that link into the personal section??

TurboTax Rocks

Turbo Tax is easy and complete. No doubt if your doing your taxes right, It covers all the bases. I recommend to all who work in the railroad industry. Used for last 18 years and it carries your info over to the next year- makes life easy
What's great about it: EASY and complete
What's not so great: almost too easy - scary LOL
