I'll never be without this product!!!!

Just love this product and have used it for many years. I'm actually on auto-renewal. I also use the ProSeries product for my client's tax returns. Keep it coming!!!
What's great about it: Ease of use, dependable and great customer service.
What's not so great: Not yet!

Use this program for the past 2 yrs and love it. Easy to use, guides you through each item so that you do not miss a thing

Since my wife was alive in 2013, till Feb. 10, the pre-typed message: "Filing as a surving spouse" was missing on spouse's signature line.
The form did permit her to be included as a spousal exemption.

What's great about it: Very thorough!
What's not so great: Very confusing on exactly how to print a review copy, before a mail-in copy.

Complete package

1- When you do your own taxes, you need some dedicated time. TurboTax allows you to fill in what you know and waits patiently for you to return when you have research to do. This is a big help.
2- The on-screen help is pretty useful. It is written in understandable, non-accountant language and will tell you if it is a common or uncommon situation. Enough information to make decisions.
3- I feel confident that I have maximized my tax efforts with TurboTax. I don't need or want to research the tax laws. TurboTax lets me do my own taxes without wondering if I missed some deduction or failed to submit a certain form. Peace of mind (as much as you can with current tax laws).

Much Quicker than last year!

I think the product was much better this year. I was able to import my W2 and all financial information and that cut my preparation time in half. Awesome experience.
What's great about it: was able to import more info reducing overall prep time
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Almost, but not quite Fun

I recommend Turbo Tax highly. I have been using it to do my own taxes for over ten years now. While I can't say that I look forward to doing my taxes, TurboTax makes the experience less painful, actually bearable. My wife thinks I actually enjoy doing them with TurboTax, so that I can tell our friends that I did our taxes without an accountant.
What's great about it: The best and most economical way to go! As easy as this painful process can be until we get a "flat tax".
What's not so great: Not all requests for entries had explanations. Help not always helpful for esoteric issues.

have been with T-T 10 years now and absolutley would not be without it
