The overall program is great . I have used it several times since I retired from accounting and tax and find that it does a great job of completing the returns accurately.
What's great about it: I like the fact that you can now e-file more than one state.
What's not so great: The program is written for someone who doesnt have experience in tax.

Not easy to use

I am a contract employee for an international organization. Under this program I have 2-3 contracts per year where I travel to a foreign country. The stay abroad lasts 2 weeks and there is work at home for a period of 4 days for each contract. I have to pay social security taxes for the days I work at home. The program does not recognize that this situation is possible. Very disappointed.
What's great about it: Efficient
What's not so great: Inapplicable to all situations

Turbo Tax ROCKS!

TT is easy to use and actually stays in touch with you while you are working the program.
This my second year with Turbo Tax...Simple and easy to use even for fear-filled Tax Dummies like me.
I'll never have to pay a CPA, book keeper or anybody else, because Turbo Tax will actually remember my information from year to year.

Great Job Turbo Tax

What i like about turbo tax is that it puts me in control on my own finances. It helps me plan ahead and get organized and I feel that there is someone watching and making sure that everything I am doing is correct. In fact, someone has already read all the tax codes and regulations to make my filing easier and this transcribe into my everyday financial dealings.
What's great about it: easy; manageable and great help to manage my own finances. I am in control
What's not so great: nothing negative so far and I have been using turbo tax for over 10 years

Once again this was about as painless as tax prep can be.
What's great about it: Easy to use but very thorough
What's not so great: Needs better treatment of dividing home office & health insurance expenses over several businesses.

Whew... Got 'er Done!

I've used Turbo Tax for several years and it seems to get better all the time. I feel confident that it is checking and I like not working about math errors. The Audit Help is great too. Hope I never have to use it.
What's great about it: Easy to follow the forms and instructions. Like the help that is a click away at all times.
What's not so great: A bit of digging to find a couple entries after I stopped and started.

15 Years Or More Of TurboTax

I started using other Tax program that cost me thousand of dollar back in the day's (1981). TurboTax has revolutionize the Tax industry. It's simple easy and affordable.
What's great about it: Year after year of inprovements
What's not so great: Limit on the electronic filing (5)
