Overall very satisfied. New Jersey Homestead Rebate instructions were wrong and would have led to taking an unwarranted deduction. Several areas where information is requested mid-way through a form instead of being requested before starting.
What's great about it: Electronic transfer of bank and broker data; year-to-year information retention
What's not so great: Errors; not everything transfers from Federal to State

This was my first time filling on my own. I own two small businesses (no employees) and even with slightly more complicated taxes Turbo Tax was a great way to go.
What's great about it: Step by step layout, quick, easy, user friendly

I have used TurboTax for as long as I can remember (and I am old). I have never had any errors on my returns and will continue using TurboTax as long as I can.
What's great about it: Easy to answer questions

I have use turbo tax for many years. I find it works very good. it makes filing easy.

The Life Saver

Take a look at the printed out forms. Honestly ask yourself if you could fill out all of those forms in using the IRS instructions alone. I've got something like 19 forms and attachments for the return. Hey, I enjoy a good puzzle as much as the next guy; however, when doing taxes I don't feel like reliving story problems from 10th grade algebra.
Turbo Tax is downright magical in taking answers to the questions I give it and translating it into all those figures that appear on the final forms that are sent off to the IRS. I can't imagine filing taxes without Turbo Tax by my side.
What's great about it: Love the Easy Guide. It's the only way to go.
What's not so great: I wish the It's Deductible was part of the Program Disc Still!!!
