Can't Live with out it

This is my 6th year using Turbo Tax. It make a daunting task doable. i have a confidence everything is done right after accurate data is entered.
What's great about it: Has explanations for every thing
What's not so great: Must pay a filing fee for State Tax
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

For standard taxes turbo tax is the man.

Would Let Me E-File, But All Else Great!

Would've given 5 stars but was unable to e-file due to a Turbo Tax error. They weren't reading the update that I had already downloaded and applied. It just kept saying; "Cant e-file because updates have not been downloaded". That was frustrating. But the rest was very simple. We own a business, home, and lots of deductions. Turbo Tax made the experience extremely easy. I love that they guarantee accuracy, and they offer the audit defense in the event of an audit. I would recommend this to everyone. I've been using TT for many years now.... don't see paying a tax person hundreds of dollars anymore to do what I can easily do with Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Easy and intuitive
What's not so great: Unable to E-file - Turbo Tax error

The Confidence I Need!

As a small business owner I need to gather a lot of information to do my taxes, which I would have to do whether I was doing them myself, or paying someone else to do them.
TurboTax makes it easy and cost effective to do the data entry myself, and have the confidence I need that they are done right.
TurboTax gives me more control at a lower cost, and is a great value!

What's great about it: Cross-checking my entries and prompting me for risks and opportunities
What's not so great: Items reviewed at end don't automatically link/jump back to that section of return in software

Great organizer

I have used TT for years and wouldn't dream of filing myself without it. The few times I've had a CPA do my returns weren't really any easier or more complete.
What's great about it: Helped me find things (deuctions and incomes) that I nearly or would have certainly missed without TT
What's not so great: The helper menus don't always clearly point to the form or accounting area that they are working to complete. A

I feel comfortable that Turbo Tax Home & Business has covered all bases for me both personally and for my small business and therefore am assured that all possible steps have been taken to properly record my income and expenses and accurately file my Income Taxes.
